We’re very pleased to announce that we will be returning to full business and professional service delivery from Monday June 1, 2020.
As per the recent NSW government, skin and body therapy clinics can re-open for business, which is great news for our community.
During the shutdown period, all Omorfia team members have undergone training and are now Australian Government Infection Control Training – COVID 19 and Dermalogica Clean Touch Certified. In addition, we have added a number of new measures to our already vigilant hygiene protocols. Key protocols for ensuring your safety are as follows:
Bookings are via phone, email or in-person (NOT online)
To ensure we can adequately screen clients and stagger appointments to maximise physical distancing, we will not be taking online bookings when we re-open. All bookings need to be made over the phone, via email or in-person.
We pre-screen clients and employees for sickness, overseas travel and contact with confirmed COVID-19 cases. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, or have been overseas or have come in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days, you will need to reschedule your appointment.
All clients and employees are required to undergo a contactless temperature check on arrival at Omorfia. If a temperature reading greater than 37.5 degrees celsius is recorded, service will be declined and the client/team member will need to return home. If a client or employee refuses to have their temperature checked, they will be declined service/not be able to remain at work.
We recommend that clients in high-risk, vulnerable groups not get treatments.
We also strongly recommend all clients and team members to download the COVID-Safe app and keep it active whilst at Omorfia.
Omorfia team members, clients and guests of Omorfia will be required to maintain physical distancing in common areas of 1.5m and a 4 square metre ratio per person ratio whilst in Omorfia, with no more than 10 clients on premises at any one time. Clients and guests may be instructed to wait outside if clinic capacity has been reached.
Manicures will be conducted in a treatment room rather than in the reception area to maximise distancing between clients.

Personal Protective Equipment
Omorfia team members will wear clean masks in common areas and treatment rooms. Aprons, gloves and face shields will also be worn in treatment rooms during treatment rooms as per good hygiene protocols.
- We wash and sanitise hands on arrival and then repeatedly throughout the day, including before and after coming in contact with a client.
- We disinfect professional use products after each use.
- Our beds are clean with freshly laundered linens for each client.
- We clean and disinfect all equipment and surfaces before use.
- We store clean and dirty items and tools separately.
- We disinfect high-touch areas at least hourly.
- We clean retail testers before and after use, and apply testers to disposable applicators when providing clients with samples.
Omorfia’s Wellness Policy
As listed as part of Omorfia’s terms and conditions on our website. Omorfia’s Wellness Policy states that clients and guests must reschedule their appointment if they show any symptoms of illness. Omorfia reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who presents with symptoms of illness, contraindications for treatment, or health conditions beyond our scope of practice. Should a client arrive for their appointment knowing they are unwell, Omorfia reserves the right to decline service and still charge 50% of the treatment fee.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment because you are unwell, please let us know as soon as possible. Our general cancellation and reschedule policy is that clients provide 24 hours notice should they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment that’s 1.5 hours or less, and 48 hours notice if the appointment is 2 hours or more, otherwise cancellation fees apply. However, when it comes to illness we generally waive the cancellation fee if the illness or symptoms have come on suddenly.
